President's Message - Malakand Chamber of Commerce

I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I am excited to lead our Chamber as we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. Our region is rich in potential, and I am committed to working tirelessly with our dedicated team to promote sustainable business growth, foster innovation, and support the entrepreneurial spirit of Malakand. About Malakand

Malakand, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, spans approximately 952 square kilometers with a population of over 720,000. Bordered by Swat, Mardan, and Bajaur, Malakand serves as a vital link between settled and tribal regions. The district comprises two tehsils: Batkhela and Dargai. The economy is largely agrarian, focusing on agriculture, horticulture, and livestock, with notable production of fruits like oranges and apricots. Malakand also has potential for tourism, thanks to its scenic landscapes and historical sites, including the strategic Malakand Pass. Efforts to improve literacy and infrastructure are underway, enhancing the district's prospects for economic growth. Malakand's strategic location and development initiatives position it as a key player in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's future.
